For this project I wanted to explore color and its effect on images. I have always been intrigued by colors and aspects of color theory, so I decided to dip my toe into the pond with this project. I want the audience to engage with my naive exploration of color side by side with me. The options within my adventure were chosen before I made the background graphics, so I went on a similar journey as my audience’s experience while I was creating this project. I started by outlining the choices that my audience would go through on the adventure and making the corresponding gif to represent that choice. Next, I picked out my background images and photoshopped them to be a monochrome picture, after the audience chooses their color, they are taken to a page with that color’s monochrome background. The next choice is to make the picture darker or lighter, whatever is chosen affects the background image to make it darker or lighter when presented with a choice of color to mix into the background. This pattern of choices that change the background image continues until the audience is left with an image that they had a hand in creating!
