I love wiener dogs, I always have and always will. When we were presented with this project, I immediately knew I wanted to do something involving wiener dogs. I also was reminded of the “Dog of Wisdom” youtube video where there is an animated wiener dog speaking in gibberish. I have always loved that video and have wondered how to create a similar video. I am super excited to expand my 3D modeling knowledge and learn new techniques. I am especially excited to animate a 3D model even though it is going to be incredibly difficult. I think that this project is really going to help me in my design classes and career which is super exciting for me. For my project, I am aiming to create a semi realistically wiener dog model. To make this more impactful in a light hearted way, I will make the dog a sausage type color to stand as the “dog” in the hot dog. Then I want to create a bun around the dog much like the classic wiener dog halloween costumes. I found a great tutorial on youtube that I am going to follow to help steer me in the right direction. I think this project is going to be extremely difficult for me to complete as I am very unfamiliar with blender and am used to softwares that have very different interfaces and commands.
