Coding is a unique type of work that requires a high level of perfection in its structure. This is different from 3D modeling, where there can be multiple creative approaches to achieve the same result. Because of the difficulties I faced in learning A-Frame, a web framework for building virtual reality (VR) experiences, I decided to create a simple mushroom environment and a smooth Blender animation of Mr. Meeseek from Rick & Morty. I chose to incorporate elements from my favorite show, Rick & Morty, into my VR project because it is a science fiction animated comedy that features an eccentric scientist named Rick and his good-hearted but easily influenced grandson, Morty, traveling to other dimensions and encountering strange creatures. The show's technical nature fits well in a VR setting, and I thought it would be fun to use characters and themes from the show in my project. I did however faced challenges in learning A-Frame due to my lack of prior coding experience and the fact that the framework uses HTML and JavaScript, which I was not familiar with. This made it difficult for me to adapt to this way of being creative, but I am grateful for the opportunity to learn more about different techniques of creative and to become more knowledgeable and open-minded as I think it will benefit me in my future. While learning A-Frame was challenging, I believe that the process has made me more resilient and better equipped to tackle future challenges.
